Mauao is a historic reserve, the very popular base track is 3.4 km and takes about 45 minutes to walk. There are several tracks to the summit. The two tracks recommended for sightseers are the Oruahine and Waikorire. The summit is 232m high – it takes about 40 minutes to get to the top.

The iconic Mount Maunganui beach! White sand & great waves for everyone! Plenty of rubber necking if you aren't into the water activities. Its just another day in paradise!!! Don't forget your sun block, towel & flip flops

Only 15 minutes drive to the infamous Mount Manganui. Once parked, you can climb to the top for incredible views, or walk the base track, an easy 40 minute walk. End up at a cafe on the beach front, then head down to one of the best beaches in the country for some sun, sea, sand and surf. Or you can go across the other side and swim at gentle Pilots Bay. For retail therapy, a stroll to the main street with a fantastic array of boutique products. End the day, at one of the many restaurants. On a cold winter evening, take a dip in the Mount hot pools.
