The best beer by far! I definitely recommend doing a beer tasting, but the Blonde Ale remains a favourite. Their German platter is quite yummy and a great addition to their beer, especially if you only feel like nibbling. If one of you is not that into beer, the coffee is also very good!

Situated on the outskirt of Dullstroom overlooking the Crocodile river from behind an avenue of liquid ambers and pin oaks the Anvil Alehouse is a must visit in Dullstroom not only for the award winning beers but also for Beans About Coffee, coffee roastery and good food. The serve a great lunch that can be enjoyed with their beer or if you are up early, a really good breakfast that can starts with a hot chocolate croissant and cappuccino.

Free beer tasting for small tables R25.00 per person for bigger tables. Snacks and light meals available. Nice setting with tables in the shade. Craft beer and coffee.

Theo and Sarie produce stunning beers at their charming microbrewery, several of which have won international awards. There is also a coffee roastery. Great for sunny days outside, or by the fireplace in winter. Light meals are served, only. Anvil Ale is open daytimes only, so confirm opening hours.
