If you love sand & sand dunes, this is the most awesome place ever. Beautiful while soft sand to ride or just to sit & play in. Wear sun screen, hats and dust filters...to breath if you are following other ATV's. It's a big sandbox for the grown ups and kids.

Yuma is the closest city to the Imperial Sand Dunes. These massive dunes host thousands of off-roaders and other visitors traveling along Interstate 8. Several movies have been filmed out here and people from all over the nation stop here to take in the sights.

About 15 minutes outside of Yuma are the Imperial Sand Dunes. They hold the title of the countries largest area of inland dunes, stretching over 40 miles. The Dunes make for the most beautiful photo drop or a really great ride in your off-road vehicle! Fun Fact!! Our Sand Dunes served a large role in the making of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi."
