Our favourite spot, but Ssshhh don't tell too many people, this is a very special place. It is tricky access as lots of steps but well worth a visit (especially out of season!). No cafes so a picnic is a must.

Gwenva is a little drive away, and a long walk down, but worth it in every way. Stunning, secluded (although no longer secret) it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. Just around the corner from Sennen, it is flanked by beautiful high cliffs. If you can't face the walk, Sennen is also beautiful, shares the same view and has a car park, cafes and toilets! Take a portable BBQ or picnic and a cold beer and stay for sunset - you will be the last people in the country to see the sun that day.

Fantastic Beach - dog friendly, steep climb down, no facilities. Lifeguard. Popular with surfers and also locals.

A hidden gem well worth the walk from the top of the hill. Possibly the best surfing beach in the UK and the first beach you reach walking towards Land's End on the coastal path (approximately 40 minutes away). Dogs are permitted year-round here. It is lifeguarded but large waves can create strong currents, so it's often 'red-flagged'. There is a small car park at the top (and we recommend the chutney from the hut there!).
