Trailhead is near Old Town La Quinta. Beautiful hike, about 4.5 miles. Strenuous if you hike all the way to the oasis at the end of the trail.

Distance: About 4.5 Miles. Beginning elevation 340′ Difficulty: Strenuous if you hike all the way to the oasis at the end of the trail.

Bear Creek Canyon Trail is a 8.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near La Quinta, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
