Andrew and Katrina have been passionate growers in the region for decades and in recent years decided to take small parcels of their own fruit to produce some fantastic wines, our pick is the Miners Ridge Chardonnay. They also operate a bnb that has been constructed out of an old railway carriage. The cellar door is open on long weekends or by appointment and they offer incredible platters and homemade preserves. Katrina and Andrew are building an amazing range to suit all palettes, and only a small quantity is produced each year which makes each bottle special. After many years of producing grapes for other wineries, Andrew and Katrina have taken small parcels of their finest fruit and crafted some wine to reflect their site. Miners Ridge combine modern harvesting and winemaking methods with some of the traditional methods including some hand harvesting and open fermenting. The wines are created with a medium-bodied style in mind and are now available for tasting in our Cellar Door onsite. They are temporarily closed at this stage but on line ordering is available.
