It's kaotic and a bit rough. £1 for 6 vegetable/fruit items in a bowl. Personally I haven't bought any meat or fish. It's quite crazy busy, very multicultural and cheap. Also loads of hardware stores, M&S, clothes, furniture, and some nice restaurants along Walworth Road including Turkish & Cheme Korean and Holland & Barrat, Coop, Tesco, Morrisons food supermarket.

East Street Market also known locally as 'The Lane', or 'East Lane', is a busy street market in Walworth in South London. It is large and vibrant and is good for African and Caribbean fruit and vegetables, material and household goods.

You can't get more local than East Street Market. You can buy anything you could ever want here. Its not pretty but you won't forget a walk down this street. No Market on a Monday.
