Downtown Markham truly became the Place to Be Entertained as Cineplex Cinemas opened its doors on Friday, April 3, 2015. The unveiling of the new state-of-the-art Cineplex complex – the area’s newest and most-cutting edge movie theatre featuring IMAX and D-BOX motion seats – represents the first step in the launch of the Phase 1 of retail and entertainment in Downtown Markham. Cineplex will be joined by retailers like RBC, Aroma Espresso Bar, Me Va Me, Chatime, and Curry’s Artists Materials later this year.
