Sekumpul Waterfall, located in the village of Sekumpul, is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. To see it up close requires a little bit of effort though, so this is one for dedicated adventurers. A dirt road, lots of slippery steps, and the crossing of a river – it’s a tough trek, but…

“Pelaga Village has staircase steps and strategic location, 63 km from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Pelaga located in the northernmost of Badung Regency offering interesting agro-tourism because the ecological value is very high. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of fruits and vegetables; the surrounding panoramic is stunning. As this Pelaga Village area comprises lots of hills, therefore it is often used for climbing or hiking with the starting line can be started from Penataran Puncak Mangu Temple, passing through several small temples, dried fields, forests and finally finishes at Bratan Lake, Bedugul. Overall, this village is charming for tracking. There are at last two interesting venues, which cannot be missed when we are in Pelaga. The first, Bagus Agrotourism is located on the slopes of Mount Catur (Balinese people call it Puncak Mangu) not far from Bedugul. This venue is located at the line of Bedugul - Kintamani. You can enjoy a good variety of plant, such as flower, fruit, big trees. The second is Nung Nung Waterfall. This waterfall is approximately 70 meters high with the flow, water flow is high enough, and surrounded by lush green trees that make the atmosphere fresh just 1 hour 23 minutes by motor bike from Canggu Dream Village Hotel.”

“The magnificent palace and park complexes of Tirta Ganga and Tamang Ujung with many reservoirs are examples of harmony of architecture with nature were built by the last raja Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut. The palaces are made in a mixed style of Balinese and European architecture. The ensembles look like a bizarre maze of ponds, fountains, bridges and alleys with dozens of animal and demon statues traditional for local culture. The compositions are framed in a lush green garden. Palaces were built as residences of royal persons, as well as for meeting high-ranking officials.”
