If you like waterfalls, this one will blow your socks off! Not only is it a absolutely fantastic drive (bout an hour 299 East) but it’s an easy Walk after you get there. DO THIS! :)
Easy hike and the waterfall is absolutely beautiful. The water is usually super cold so you probably wouldn't wanna swim in it but I have known people to jump in for a few just to say they did!
Burney Falls is an incredible site to see! It's only 29 miles from the cabins!
90 minute drive to the park entrance. Easy hike to the bottom of the falls. Uphill on the way back or take a longer gradual climbing loop trail along the river back to the top.

“The hike is worth it! Pack a "light" lunch and enjoy when you reach your destination. Whiskeytown Falls For over 40 years this 220-foot waterfall was only a secret to the few that knew it existed. For a variety of reasons, some people decided not to share the falls' existence with others. Today, people from all over the world have heard about the hidden secret. Whiskeytown has four major waterfalls that you can visit all year. The best time to visit the waterfalls is in the spring when the creeks are bursting with the runoff from melting snow. During the summer months a hike to a waterfall provides a cool break from the heat of the valley.”
