One can sit and hang with friends, eat a meal, or dance to live music. We're not much of night scenekinda people, but this one is worth the late night!

The address doesn't seem to be showing up correctly. It is on Washington Street in Downtown Durham near Geer Street Garden NOT on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard! Music every night of the week, with bar and food. Open jams on Monday (jazz) and blues (check their site). If you're a traveling musician, it's probably possible to sit in on one of these open jams. Otherwise, there's great music and fun dancing. People watching is also worthwhile here. The owners are the friendliest.

The Blue Note Grill supports local, roots acts (blues, bluegrass, alt funk, jazz, etc.). Great vibe! Good food.
