Fantastic hiking spot beautiful forests even prettier lake.

We really like this large State Park, with trails for every level of difficulty, and beautiful lakes, forests, paths. We take family and visitors there who wish to hike, or to canoe, and the "Walktober" event that occurs there every year is a winner for serious hikers. There is, however, much more going on there than hiking, including boating, fishing, camping, and more; definitely worth some exploring.

Gorgeous state park with wonderful hiking trails and picnic areas. There are also hiking paths at the end of Mashapaug Road that lead to the State Park as well!
