Whitby is very close to us. 30 to 40 minutes away. This gorgeous old fishing port with its red roofs and beautiful old church is a must! Just wander around and look at the sights or take in some shopping or have tea and cakes or fish and chips at the clean and comfortable Trenchers.

Just over an hour’s scenic drive from the cottage, Whitby is a great mix of wide open beach, historic Abbey and British seaside fun. Great shops, full of unique finds!
