The Amtrak train is the best way to get to Portland. Take the train! Ticket is affordable and comes with a free cocktail. Union Station in Portland is in the heart of the city, and portland is known for its food. The train ride is scenic. Take the train down in the morning, enjoy lunch and a bit of the city. Then return to Tacoma on the last train!!
