Rathtrevor Beach is a must visit if you are here during the summer. It is perfect for families with young kids - at low tide you can walk almost a kilometre out to the water and the shallow water keeps the temperature warm and safe for kids.

Beautiful beach and park area with a walking/ cycling path and picnic tables. Great for families.

Amazing beach with miles of sand so you can pick your own little spot of paradise. When the tide goes out, you have 5+ hours to enjoy this large sandy beach. Keep your eyes open for crabs, sand dollars, funky seaweed and little mussels squirting up through the sand. Also has lots of nice trails, picnic tables and public bathrooms
