A spectacular lake view and the best paragliding take-off in France. I could watch the paragliders and delta wings launch all day long!

It's worth walking a bit further up to watch the parapenters take off. Combine with lunch at La Ferme restaurant. For those with the stamina, you can walk from the campsite to the top of the col de la Forclaz via the Chemin des Vignobles that starts in Verthier village.
