Busy bi-level coffee shop providing espresso drinks & breakfast/lunch dishes in an open, airy space. Offers vegan and gluten-free options as well! GF pancakes are delicious! One of our favorite breakfast spots!

The Catalyst Breakfast and Lunch 111 N Higgins Ave, Missoula Opens at 8 am closes at 3 pm Fantastic place for breakfast and lunch. Great menu for both. Good downtown vibe with outdoor sidewalk seating when it is warm enough. The place is pretty small and gets full very quickly. . Head out to the alley and turn right, then right on Ronald head north until you hit the river (1 mile). Turn left until you reach Higgins Ave, and then head over the bridge. The Catalyst is on the left of Higgins (north of Front and south of Main) after about ½ mile.

I love the Catalyst because they have delicious breakfast options, excellent service, great coffee and a cozy atmosphere.

Fantastic food, great service, and the potato casserole is to die for. If you're going on the weekend, be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes.
