For breakfast and in general for desserts and haute patisserie I recommend the Roman Bar which, for me, is the best artisan pastry shop in Sorrento and its surroundings. Reachable in 9 minutes on foot, it is 750 meters from the Villa crossing, slightly uphill, Via Casa Starita, the characteristic road that crosses the historic center of Meta di Sorrento (Fonte G.Map). Open as early as 6 in the morning. Weekly closing day Tuesday Per la colazione ed in generale per dolci ed alta pasticceria consiglio il Bar Romano che, per me, è la migliore pasticceria artigianale di Sorrento e dintorni. Raggiungibile in 9 minuti a piedi, dista 750 metri dalla Villa attraversando, in leggera salita, Via Casa Starita, la caratteristica stradina che attraversa il centro storico di Meta di Sorrento (Fonte G.Map). Da non perdere una colazione al bar Romano, gustate la tipica delizia al limone, dolce di Sorrento. Nel mese di Agosto, assaggiate i dolci tipici mettessi: pera al cioccolato e melanzana al cioccolato!
