It's the closest sushi place... but not necessarily the best. I'd recommend Ocean or Haru (on Amsterdam) instead.

It seems to be a common trend among NYC Asian establishments to be liberal with the booze. Astoria’s Matsu Sushi has hopped on this benevolent bandwagon and offers free wine with all its entrees.

One of our favorite Sushi restaurants, and you get free Sake if you dine in house!
