The is a beautiful flat trail that extends for four miles along the lake. It's a great walk!

This is my favorite walk in Bellingham. It's flat, gravel until mile 2-ish and has the most stunning views of Lake Whatcom. You'll feel as if you're in northern Italy. Good history is written up in posted placards at the start of the trail. Makes a great, flat run at 6 miles total but when we're lazy with the kids we often just do the first mile to the waterfall, visit and play at the large sandy beach then head back.
