Stunning location, one of the most beautiful valleys. Historic Abbey and beautiful walks by the river. If you get hungry theres The Cavendish Pavilion and The Devonshire Arms.

Owned by the Duke of Devonshire Bolton Abbey Estate is a must for a good ramble in the fresh air. Parking is quite expensive so be prepared but the visit is well worth it.

55 mins drive but it’s such a historic and beautiful place. And a great circular walk. If you do go that far be sure to consider either Billy Bobs American diner which is perfect for families or The Devonshire Arms which is high quality beautiful food (but pricey but amazing)

So many different reasons to visit Bolton abbey... great walks, historical buildings and some nice cafes in the village. The Bolton Abbey estate put in some great events throughout the year which can be booked on their website.
