A really good cafe with massive dishes and desserts. Good place for kids as they have playground outside the cafe. Also the sugar factory to visit there, fees applied.

Decadent menu and counter food right in the middle of the famous Chelsea Sugar Factory. Not ashamed of embracing the sugar it's named for! Go early if you don't want to wait. Has a playground attached so perfect with kids. A lovely walk from Glade Place... cross over Hinemoa, head down Rugby Rd, then Telephone Rd to find steps down to Chelsea Bay. Follow the bush track around the bay until you find the Sugar Factory.
