Easy and close 45 minute zig zag hike to Mesa with fantastic view. Moderate to easy.

Outstanding views, solitude, and an opportunity to wander around the top of a mesa. 1.2 mile out-and-back trail with a steady and gradual ascent that takes you up to the flat top of Doe Mountain.

An easier hike and it's only 45 minutes to 1 hour round trip. You can see "Doe Mountain" from the patio and through the kitchen window!

Doe Mountain Trail is a great beginner to moderate trail with switchbacks leading to a mesa with 360 views of Boynton Canyon, Fay Canyon and the secret mountain wilderness. A 30-minute hike leads to remarkable views and an unforgetable Sedona photo opp.

“Best women's clothing! Even my friends from Minneapolis bring an extra suitcase to take home unique clothing that fits women. Ask for Rita and tell her Pat sent you! Another favorite is Isn't She Lovely and Posh for the super exclusive designer taste.”

“Lower Chimney Rock, Summit, Chimney Rock Pass, Thunder Mountain Trails. The North Urban Trail System is an interconnected series of trails along the red rock front country at the north edge of Sedona. If you walk down Buckboard road (walking down Rodeo, first street to the left) from the property and take it to the end then make a right, on your left will be a windmill and that is the trail head to the aforementioned hikes. Please remember to pack extra water and wear significant sunscreen. ENJOY!”

“Best in the summer or fall. It's a water hike and follows sections of Oak Creek River. Gorgeous hike, plenty of shade and slow pace over rock. Early morning is best, it is very popular!”
