A personal favourite as my sister in law was married here 10 years ago, wonderful memories of a great day! Gubbio is known as one of the most fascinating Umbrian cities. So much to see starting with the Cathedral which is the main church in Gubbio. Inside you can see works from artists of the sixteenth century. You will also see the panoramic piazza Grande which hosts the Consuls Palace, built in Gothic style. Inside this you will see the minicipal museum, the big bell and the seven Eugubine Tables which date back to the second and third centuries B.C. Its quite a drive from Castiglione in Teverina, over an hour but I firmly believe its worth the visit. Maybe take in Perugia en route!
