This hike or mountain bike is for the adventurous only. Hitch a ride on a colectivo to Pachar (or bike 30 minutes down the Ciclovia). Hike/Bike up the road about 4 km and then it's a steep switchback dirt road (1-2 hrs) until the community of Socma. Once you reach the town, keep hiking up the path for about 45 minutes until you get the waterfalls. You can ask the locals for the "Cascada" or "Cataratas" and they will point you. You can also access the falls from Ollantaytambu which is more scenic (but longer if you don't have a bike!).

Desde cualquier airbnb entre Ollantaytambo y Urubamba se toma un taxi a 60 soles . El viaje en auto es de 25 minutos aproximadamente. Al llegar al pueblo de Socma, se camina por un bello camino inca durante 2 horas máximo a paso lento. Si desean pueden seguir subiendo un poco más y llegarán a un centro arqueológico Inca además de disfrutar de vistas impresionantes. Para los que no desean caminar, también hay la opción de alquilar un caballo en el pueblo de Socma. Es una caminata recomendada para personas desde los 7 años hasta 60 años. También al llegar a Socma pueden organizar su almuerzo en el restaurante del camping. Ellos cocinan una riquisima trucha y mas cosas por sólo 25 soles por persona. De esta manera cuando regresen de su caminata, tendrán la comida ya lista.

Perolniyoc es un lugar hermoso, con restos de construcciones incas y una catarata muy bonita.
