Since 1946, this has been the scene at Ocean County’s New Egypt Speedway, where race fans from all over descend for weekly auto racing entertainment. What started off as a meager dirt track known as Ft. Dix Speedway now hosts some of the area’s greatest racing action – featuring everything from high-profile nationally touring series to mud bogs and monster trucks – but the majority of New Egypt Speedway’s events are highlighted by the region’s best weekly competitors.
