A lovely beach for walking. Also Pans Rocks and continue on past Maguire's Strand Caravan park and beyond for beautiful views of Rathlin Island, Fair Head and Scotland beyond. You can often see grey seal on the rocks near the caravan park. Occasionally you will see dolphin swimming in the Bay.
It’s stunningly beautiful and quieter than some of the other beaches on the Causeway Coast. I walk there every day. Stunning views to Rathlin Island, Fairhead and Scotland.
On the doorstep. Beautiful Beach walk along to Pans Rocks at the end of the beach. Walk along the sand or the grass path by the golf course or the road. You can join the road at the end of the beach and continue along the quiet coastal road to "Marconi's Cottage" From where it is said inventor Marconi sent early radio messages to Rathlin Island. On coastal rocks see the Eider duck in early summer and oyster catchers (Oiks) year round and even schools of Dolphins in late summer.
