Spectacular limestone caves. 2.5 hour drive (140km). At Herberton take the road to Petford then continue along Burke Developmental Road to Chillagoe.

Recently travelled there with friends. make sure you leave early to catch all the tours. Drive through Dimbulah to stay on main roads. its a good 2 hour drive through pretty amazing country.

Amazing day trip from Longwater, the caves are spectacular and the variety enormous. A lovely town with lots of character and interesting friendly people.
