Oslos finest beach with a nice café ("Anne på landet"). There is a very scenic short round track (30 mins) starting and ending at the beach.

Hvervenbukta is situated in the borough of Søndre Norstrand, in the south east of Oslo, at the fjord. The popular bathing place and park has a sandy beach, a small café, toilets, showers and drinking fountains. Life guards are on duty during the summer months. Bus 79 to Hauketo, then bus 88 to Hvervenbukta. Takes about 30 minutes.
