A summer oasis! Quite literally. With 3 little lakes to explore, this is a place worthy of a dedicated day trip. Bring the kids, dogs, snacks, and a floaty for a day of swimming, short hikes and appetite inducing activity. Explore on the lake loop trail or just hang out and swim. Find the dedicated dog beach for off leash freedom.

If one doesn't mind driving out of town for a little, it is beautiful in the Summer, with sandy beaches and good swimming.
