[20min drive] Great in good or bad weather - lovely Marina with shops, cafes and restaurants. Also a nice 20min walk along the canal to the Dragon pub from here.

Particularly recommend the Mug Tug Too at the Marina. It is a little boat that you can do crafts on. Great for kids and grown ups! Can just turn up , if there's a few of you or it's a weekend in summer you can phone ahead and reserve tables. You can even have birthday parties on the boat. The boat is moored and stationary. Lovely , friendly activity to do whatever the weather. here are also lots of other facilities at the Marina, shops, tea rooms, bar, nice walks and boat trips. Great place to go.

Wonderful facilities on site including four coffee shops and eateries, shopping and an art gallery. Borrow a bike from the community bikeshare and cycle around the marina or go father afield down the towpath. Walk around the lakes or have a picnic in the fields while the kids play on the adventure playground.
