While it doesn't show up on all maps as a road that accesses the river, Vienna St. is actually the best way to get to the Medina River. Koenig Park is between Berlin St. and Vienna. Walking down to the river is via a somewhat steep and kind of bumpy road, but it's worth the short hike. The park itself is a place where they frequently hold festivals and such, but it's not a typical park with playground equipment or sports fields.
