One of the most historic places of Kullu-Manali is Naggar, which is famous for its Naggar Castle, Art Gallery and mesmerising view of both Kullu and Manali valley. -The castle is Built by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu in around 1460 A.D. -The Art Gallery building houses the exhibition once filled in as the habitation of Nicholas Roerich. Paintings of Kullu, Spiti and Lahaul made by the painter have been housed in the ground floor of the exhibition. - There are 3 ways to reach Naggar 1. Naggar Castle is a medieval castle, located in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, India. Built by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu in around 1460 A.D, it was taken over to Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, to run as a heritage hotel, since 1978.
