The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum is an active Historic Site in Hadley, Massachusetts which tells the story of a New England family and their household over two centuries. The well-preserved 18th century structure contains the family’s belonging accumulated and preserved over 300 years. The museum presents several community out reach programs including Wednesday Folk Traditions, a seven week series of ethnic folk music performances; “A Perfect Spot of Tea” held each Saturday in July and August featuring earl grey, pastries and a line-up of local musicians; Community Days; art exhibits in the Corn Barn; and tours of the historic house and grounds which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Museum is also the National Connecticut River Scenic Byway visitor center.
