Only a 5 mile drive from Loya's, McFarland Park offers more of central Iowa's native landscape with miles of trails through prairie and hard wood timber. Make sure you stop inside the visitors' center to take a look at one of Dean's murals: a tour of Iowa's flora and fauna through the seasons.

a nature focused county park. just a cool place. Good single track walking and biking paths.
