Without a doubt my favorite concert venue in the area -- about a 45 minute drive south of Dubuque. It's a tricked out barn at the end of a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. I have discovered new bands and seen some of my favorite veteran artists (Whitney, Jenny Lewis, Kurt Vile, The Hold Steady, Tallest Man on Earth, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Nightsweats, Delta Spirit, Local Natives, Built to Spill, Dinosaur Jr., Counting Crows, I MEAN COME ON). Two bars, local artists who sell their wares underneath the barn, and there is a dilapidated old farm house that has been turned into a gallery with rotating art. Music is booked by Daytrotter from the Quad Cities.
