Kyoto Co-op is just what the name implies, a local co-op that delivers fresh ingredients straight from the farmers. If you want to come down and get a few ingredients be sure to prepare a bag!

COOP is a great grocery store, very convenient, with very good selections. It is on Karasuma, west side, just south of Ebisugawa. Open 9am-8:30pm.
