This local landmark is like an oasis on the outskirts of the hustle bustle that is Surfers Paradise. Everyone loves this park from the local residents, holiday makers or families on a day trip from outer regions. It is located just across the road, north of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast Highway between Narrowneck and Paradise Waters. You could easily spend a few hours at this park uncovering all that it has to offer. There are many picnic tables and gas barbeque areas under the shade of the trees. There are plenty of birds roaming throughout the park including geese and lyrebirds. There's two kids playgrounds, 'Bigfoot's Cave', free puppet shows during school holidays and lots more.

Beautiful nature reserve. Great for a leisurely walk or to take the kids for a play in the parks.

Take the train to Main Beach stop. This park is surrounded by canals, walk over the river to the beach, two playgrounds, lots of little rivers with bridges and a small waterfall. Peacocks can be found here too- feeding time is in morning. Enjoy lunch at nearby Tedder Ave after.
