A country pub with beer garden, play area and outside seating as well. It's cosy and has a great wood burning stove in the winter. The food is variable because it keeps changing hands but generally is pretty good, sometimes excellent.

Great pub with great food and atmosphere. Perfect half way point if you want a good walk from The Vestry along the canal or The Middlewood Way. Serves coffee, cake aswell as lunch and dinner. Small play area for kids
