Local Grocery store that is a landmark in Berkeley. Before 2 o'clock they make some of the best sandwiches around. Call in your order if you can't make it by 2 pm.

Amazing sausages (love the curry sausage) and smoked salmon. Great local grocery store with a bakery/cafe next door. Also, it is a pretty walk to get there.

Terrific deli within a sweet neighborhood grocery store. Smart stop prior to a picnic hike. Sandwiches are generous & good to share.
