Beautiful park for kayaking, fishing, etc.

A small riverside park just below the dam. You can launch a kayak here to go downriver, or walk across the bridge over the river, and hit a short little trail. Or sun, swim, barbecue or picnic. The water is refreshing because it comes out from the bottom of the lake through the dam. Dogs abound!

Located on the North side of Austin, adjacent to Mansfield Dam, this 62 acre day use park is ideal for picknicking and swimming. Water Recreation: Canoeing/Kayaking, Fishing.

Frigid water, even on 100 degree days. Just below Mansfield Dam on Lake Austin.

If you need to cool off head here! Water is about 68 degrees, and comes right out of the bottom of the damn. Its like the barton springs of the west.
