For a nice, scenic, long beach walk or a quick dip in the lake, we love AuSable Point. You can park just before the ticket kiosk when you see the beach on your left and walk in via the beach, or pay the $8 day fee to NYS Parks. The point, where the AuSable feeds into the Lake, is beautiful and a little other worldly.

Best beach on lake Champlain! Very shallow, sandy and clean. Day use at the campground for $8.00 per car. There is a playground and restrooms.
