One of many owned by the McMenamin brothers who buy historic buildings and turn them into hospitality establishments of all kinds. They support artists of all types in their elaborate décor sparing no expense and landscape with unique plants. They brew their own beers and make their own wines. The food is standard pub fare. The Oregon City pub is an old church. It is small and cozy and has comfortable booths around the perimeter and a big bar that fills the center. There is a deck with outdoor seating. This pub is a modest example of that the brothers do. If yo’ure interested in this concept and would like to visit one of their premier properties we recommend their Edgefield location (40 min away towards the Columbia River Gorge) for a visit.

Classic standby in Oregon and Washington, McMenamins provides your usual pub and grub, with some outstanding beers. Try the Rubinator, a combination of the Ruby Ale and Terminator Stout.
