Bowers is a fabulous local museum with great temporary and permanent exhibits. Easily can be done in a couple hours and they even have a sit down restaurant if your hungry. Do visit this historic structure with a courtyard garden and an appealing gift shop for their special exhibits as well as their permanent Pacific Art collection

Fascinating, especially if you are into cultural history. Not the best for kids. If you have kids, do Discovery Center.
