Great for a quick, filling meal, and open late. A simple menu of 8 types of dumplings and 3 sides, all delicious. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dumplings are available!

The tender, bite-size beef and potato dumplings here are especially satisfying when consumed after a night of drinking — which no doubt explains why Pel Meni stays open until 2:30 a.m. The shop is down an alley a few steps from Fremont’s Lenin statue; cross the threshold into the colorful but barebones dining area and it’s easy to imagine you’re back in the USSR.

Good but not amazing Russian dumplings--be sure to try their carrot salad and Nutella-filled dessert dumplings, too.
