Arisaig Provincial Park is best known as a fossil destination for geology buffs. Some fossils are easily visible in the rock, while others can be discovered during a search. However, the park has much more to offer like a beautiful sandy beach, a 1.6 kilometer hiking trail, and some great views overlooking the Northumberland Shore. Arisaig Provincial Park adventures, and activities most enjoyed include hiking, sightseeing, picnicking, swimming, beachcombing, camping, fossil digging (but you cannot take them) and snowshoeing and skiing.

Waterfalls, walk, jog, hike, picnic, swim, explore pangea fossils! Arisaig park is a cute little park, ideal for a forested run or hike, situated along the shores of the Northumberland Strait. You can find fossils that tie the area to the supercontinent Pangea. A provincially maintained park, it has picnic areas and well maintained hiking trails.
