DC's most famous chili! I think mine's better ;) but they say you haven't been to DC unless you've had Ben's Chili Bowl -- Obama swears by it!

DC establishment, one of the only business open on U St NW during the Martin King Jr. assassination riots back in 1968. Now branching out to other parts of the city, with one here on H St NE. Known for "half smokes" but they have veggie dogs, veggie burgers and veggie chili.

A DC must! Offshoot of the historic spot that's famous for its spicy hot dogs, chili-cheese fries & milkshakes.
