If there’s only one spot you visit in Corfu, make sure it’s Porto Timoni, which is my favourite beach and coastline on the island. If you’re arriving by car, park up in the village (or just outside) and take the 20-minute stroll down to the beach itself.
The beach itself is amazing for swimming and snorkelling, just make sure you take a picnic for lunch, plenty of water and sunblock. No one likes to leave a beach hungry and as read as a lobster.
Afionas is a village with a magnificent view. There are 2 restaurants where you can have a dinner looking the sunset. In this village, there is Porto Timoni, an amazing location of two beaches on a small peninsula. No shops or beach kiosk nothing , so make sure you take stuff with you. Once parked…
You must walk 25 minutes down for afiona village and you will be in the most exciting –two side beach you ever seen. Sport shoes must be taken because the route is little difficult. You can also go by boat from Saint George North Beach to avoid walking.

“A bit farther afield in Peroulades, 16 km from Acharavi, but beautiful rocky scenery.”

“Possibly one of the busier areas of Corfu Island, Sidari has a little gem that you should definitely see. Just shy of the town itself (to the west) is Canal d’Amour, one of Corfu’s most unique spots. Local folklore says that couples that swim through the channel will get married very soon, making it a perfect spot if you’re waiting for someone to pop the question! ”

“While up north, pay a visit to this bar where the sunset is breathtaking. Extra tip: try and get there in advance (prior to sunset) and sit on one of the swings the bar has while enjoying a cocktail.”

“Some km before Palaiokastritsa-deep blue sea, clear and cold water, beautiful nature and view. Best to have some things with you because the beach isn't organised. ”
