Grand lake is good Summer and Winter but it is known as the snowmobile capital of the US. The State and City spare no expense keeping trails groomed and well marked (paid for by our snowmobile registrations of course). My favorite ride is from Grand Lake to Gould and then up Bull Mountain. It is 120 miles round trip so plan on stopping at the Howling Coyote for some lunch.
