Fremont Troll is an art project completed several years ago. The size of the Troll is quite overwhelming. The volkswagon in the Troll hand looks like a toy car. There are usually a crowd of people gathered at the Troll anytime day or night.

The Space Needle built for the World Fair in the 1960's. Get a specular view of the city. There is fine dining at the top of the Space Needle that slowly revolves for a 360 view of Seattle, the Puget Sound, Lake Washington, and other sites.

Great place for music history and several interactive music displays. We got to pretend we were on stage with our own band. We have a picture of our band, each playing our instruments. If you need a bite to eat, there is a restaurant at the EMP. It is suitable for all.

The location of this one is great, because you can walk the boardwalk by Puget Sound and have a great day of sightseeing. Check out The Old Curiosity Shop or the Seattle Aquarium. Or perhaps a trip on the Argosy for a day on the water. There is also the option of the water taxi to West Seattle ( a much cheaper option) for a quick trip on the water. The water taxi takes you to West Seattle, but is a long walk to any services.

The only mall in Seattle City proper. This mall was recently updated and additional shop added to the outside. It is not a huge mall, but serves the purpose. Barnes and Nobles, Nordstrom, Macy, JC Pennys, are the large stores in the mall. There are several other popular clothing stores, a food court, jewelry store, game stores and other stores in the mall. Parking is available in the parking garage on the south of the mall. The transit station for buses is also located next to the mall.

A very popular park with a 2.8 mile trail that surrounds the lake. Very crowded on warm, sunny days. Swimming available, wading pools with limited hours, a theater, ball fields, teeing range, fishing, playground, and community center. Paddle boat, paddle board, and skates available for rent.

I love this park. It is right on the puget sound and during warm weather is packed with people enjoy the sun. Crowds stay late into the night. Bon fires are common. Difficult to find parking on nice days, so go early.
